The Canadian Creative Accelerator will offer training, mentorship and financing access to emerging Canadian producers poised for growth.

The Canadian Creative Accelerator will provide five selected production companies from across Canada the opportunity to participate in four, weeklong sessions, taking place over the course of three months. Given the current public health concerns, the first iteration will be virtual, with subsequent groups participating in-market. The five selected participants will be announced during Content Canada’s Digital Summit and the program will begin the week of October 5.

Zaib Shaikh“Los Angeles is globally recognized as the epicentre for media & entertainment and the Consulate is excited to launch the Canadian Creative Accelerator this fall to support Canadian producers in Hollywood”, said Zaib Shaikh, Consul General of Canada in Los Angeles. “This initiative will help Canadian content creators grow their companies and further develop their projects on the international stage.
