Global premieres new original series Departure at Content Canada

Departure, starring Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife) and Christopher Plummer (All The Money In The World), will make its North American premiere at the Content Canada Screenings on September 10.

Presented by Corus Entertainment in partnership with the Canada Media Fund, the event will also include a panel following the screening featuring Panjabi and Plummer, along with series director T.J. Scott (Orphan Black, Star Trek: Discovery) and series creator Vincent Shiao (Ransom, Aftermath). Also participating in the screening and panel event are executive producer Christina Jennings, Chairman and CEO, Shaftesbury, and Rachel Nelson, Director, Original Content, Drama, Corus.

Set to premiere on Global in early 2020, Departure is a thrilling six-part drama that follows the disappearance of a passenger plane that vanishes over the Atlantic Ocean.
