The Canadian Creative Accelerator (CCA) is an initiative of the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service at The Consulate General of Canada in Los Angeles. The initiative aims to increase the scope and global reach of Canadian television, film, music, and new media productions. Specifically geared towards the Los Angeles market, the CCA is meant for emerging and established companies who are ready for international growth. This first iteration will be open to television producers and television production companies.

Open to producers working in unscripted, scripted and / or factual, this in-market initiative is comprised of four weeks of half-day sessions spread over the course of three months, starting in fall 2020. Throughout the three-month period, successful participants will have a unique opportunity to gain access to some of the industries most influential television producers, financiers, distributors and talent in Hollywood. Participants will participate in panels, networking events and one-on-one meetings, amongst other online events. Due to Covid-19, the first cohort will be virtual. Only those who can commit to the full scope of the program should apply. Applications close at 11:59 pm EST on August 24, 2020. The fall programming will begin on October 5th, 2020. All the programming will be in English.
