Angie Polk is the vice president of development at Hallmark Media. Polk is based in Los Angeles. Polk oversees the creation of original premiere movies, managing all aspects of pre-production, development, production, and post-production. With a focus on increased diversity and inclusion, she shepherds the vision for content with writers and producers, guiding cross-functional teams to execute productions on time. Prior to working at Hallmark Media, Polk served as a programming & development coordinator at NBC Universal’s Syfy & Chiller networks. She began her career in the Page Program at NBC Universal in New York. Polk was selected for the 2022 WICT Rising Leader Program as a result of her work at Hallmark Media. She graduated from Elon University with a degree in Broadcast Communications. In her downtime, she loves spending time with her husband and son.
