As a creative executive Jessica is responsible for developing comedies and dramas for the Canadian and international markets, collaborating with creatives and executives across Boat Rocker’s scripted slate. Recent projects include 2023’s Robyn Hood for Global TV, the upcoming series Bet for Netflix and Irish series Video Nasty. She has developed with CBC, Corus, Paramount+, Amazon and Crave. Jessica is also across Boat Rocker’s first look deals with Stephan James and Shamier Anderson’s company Bay Mills Studios, and actor/writer/director Jay Baruchel.
Before joining Boat Rocker in 2018, Jessica was Development Manager at Back Alley Film Productions where she helped develop drama series Coroner (CBC, The CW) and Bellevue (CBC, WGN America) in addition to managing the company’s development slate. A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s RTA School of Media, Jessica got her start on set in the unscripted space.
