As Senior Vice President of Drama Programming & Development for FOX Television Network,
Jillian Kugler serves as lead executive shepherding many of the network’s signature drama
series from script to screen. Since joining FOX Entertainment in 2021, Kugler has been
responsible for the development and production of the upcoming medical drama Doc from
executive producers Barbie Kligman and Hank Steinberg; the first two seasons of Howard
Gordon’s acclaimed crime anthology series Accused; and the first season of Alert: Missing
Persons Unit from executive producers John Eisendrath and Jamie Foxx.
Prior to FOX, Kugler was Senior Vice President at Imagine Television, managing all aspects of
development and current programming. In this role, she identified projects, scouted emerging
talent and worked closely with writers and directors throughout the development phase,
ultimately selling shows to FOX, NBC, CBS, CW, Netflix, Showtime and Disney+. Among Kugler’s
credits at Imagine, she was co-executive producer on FOX’s Filthy Rich and Paramount
Network’s 68 Whiskey, and she was the production executive on FOX’s hit drama series Empire.
Kugler was also President of Production for Marc Forester’s 2DUX 2 , where she established the
company’s television division and served as co-executive producer on the Amazon series Hand
of God. In film, she was a producer on All I See Is You, associate producer for World War Z and
Machine Gun Preacher, and was director’s assistant on Quantum of Solace, The Kite Runner and
Stranger Than Fiction. She also served as an assistant at William Morris Agency and CAA,
supporting agents on the TV and Motion Picture Lit teams.
Kugler graduated from the University of Denver with Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration.
