Kim Wilson is the Director of OneFish TwoFish Consulting, a consulting collective that supports content creators in a range of services from education, strategy, focus testing and cultural consultation. Kim also teaches at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson) and is the Director of TMU’s Children’s Media Lab, focusing on forward thinking research that helps kids media makers on topics ranging from disabilities inclusion to authentic storytelling. Kim is a children’s media veteran who spent over 25 years in senior roles at public broadcasters TVO and CBC. She currently serves on the Board of Youth Empowering Parents. In her spare time, Kim plays with Lego and is completing a master’s degree in Childhood Studies with a focus on marginalized communities.
