Laura Clunie was appointed as Spin Master Entertainment’s Senior Vice President, Development, Current Series and Feature Film in February 2020. In her role, Laura is responsible for Spin Master Entertainment’s creative strategy for long form, short form and feature film projects. She oversees the development of new intellectual property (IP) across the portfolio, including the company’s feature film slate and acts as a Producer leading the creative on greenlit theatrical projects. Prior to this role, Laura held the position of Vice President Development and Creative Director for Spin Master Entertainment where she led creative strategy, shepherding original IP content and acquisitions from development through to green light. In her six years at Spin Master, Laura has led the creative on a number of properties, including PAW Patrol, Mighty Express, Rusty Rivets and Abby Hatcher. Laura has a rich background of developing children’s programming. Before joining Spin Master, she served as Vice President of Creative Affairs at eOne Family, overseeing all creative initiatives for global hit properties Peppa Pig, PJ Masks and Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom. She also served as a Producer for Chorion LTD (now Silvergate Media) in London, England (Noddy, Olivia The Pig, Famous Five). Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University and a Masters of Film Studies from University College Dublin.
