Mark Bishop is co-founder and executive producer of the international award-winning production company, marblemedia. Over the last 23 years, Bishop and his business partner Matt Hornburg have diversified marblemedia’s content slate into becoming one of Canada’s leading and most highly-respected independent production, distribution and digital media companies. With head offices in Toronto, marblemedia also operates internationally out of both Los Angeles and London. Global trailblazers, marblemedia has been recognized for their production output, Bishop and Hornburg’s specialty lies in their scripted and unscripted shows for primetime, family and kids’ audiences. The pair also own and operate the successful international distributor, Distribution360, as well as their successful YouTube channel, marbleKids. With over 2000 hours of content produced and distributed in over 200 territories, their recent productions include the award-winning Netflix Original series, Blown Away and Drink Masters, CBC Originals Best in Miniatures and Race Against the Tide, Discovery’s A Cut Above, family comedies The Parker Andersons/Amelia Parker, Overlord and the Underwoods, and the upcoming teen comedy series for Hulu and Prime Video, Davey and Jonesie’s Locker and the highly anticipated Prime Video documentary feature film, Mr. Dressup: The Magic of Make-Believe. Most recently, Mark and Matt were named on the Globe & Mail’s list of 25 most influential people in Canadian Television, the “Titans of Unscripted” on Variety’s 2022 Reality Impact Report and named by the Hollywood Reporter as a “Next Generation Content Producer”.

Originally from Saint John, New Brunswick, Mark now lives in Toronto with his wife and daughter. Among his heroes in the industry are Walt Disney, Jim Henson and Mr. Dressup- all of whom believed in the power of imagination.
