For over 35 years, Christina Jennings has been at the helm of Shaftesbury bringing Canadian stories to the forefront of global entertainment. A Canadian Film Centre graduate and member of both the Order of Canada and Order of Ontario, her 100+ projects have expanded the limits of the Canadian “screen” industry and have created countless opportunities for generations of creators. Shaftesbury’s current primetime slate includes 17 seasons of the internationally beloved drama Murdoch Mysteries, six seasons of the heartwarming procedural Hudson & Rex, five seasons of the horror anthology series Slasher and three seasons of Departure.
Shaftesbury has produced over 30 international co-productions from the company’s earliest film with Jessica Tandy (Camilla) to the Irish-Canadian comedy series SisterS, starring Sarah Goldberg (Barry).
