Cosentino is a senior media leader and content champion with a 25-year track record of success in Canadian media. In Spring 2021, he launched CosMedia.Inc., a boutique media.co serving three verticals: Content, Production & Distribution. The company has since partnered with some of the World’s foremost entertainment brands including FremantleMexdia, Viaplay, Shout! Studios, Quiver Entertainment, RCN, A+E Networks, Incendo and more. Last year, CosMedia.Inc expanded to launch CMI Latam, a distribution arm localising Canadian content for licensing into Latin American platforms and channels.
The former President, Content & Programming for Bell Media, Cosentino led programming, production and content partnerships for the company’s Entertainment services. He was a key figure during a 20-year period of unprecedented success. He led CTV to 14 straight years as Canada’s #1 broadcaster (2007-21), led the content strategy and launch of Crave (2014) and in 2018 he launched the all-new CTV branded portfolio of specialty channels introducing a new digital era for the company. He was instrumental in greenlighting Canada’s most brand defining Original programs including international hits Letterkenny (Crave/Hulu), Transplant (CTV/NBC), Cardinal (CTV/Hulu), Children Ruin Everything (CTV/CW/Roku) along with overseeing the teams who developed some of Canada’s most successful formats including The Amazing Race Canada, MasterChef Canada and most recently, Canada’s Drag Race. Cosentino was a founding Board Member of Entertainment Industry Foundation Canada and has served on the Boards at WOW! Unlimited Media and the Discovery Channel Canada.
