Tash Naveau is an auntie, artsworker and artist. She is Dene (Chipweyan) and eastern European, Deer Clan, and was raised in and is from the Anishnaabe community of Mattagami First Nation where she lives and works. A graduate of the Documentary Media MFA at Toronto Metropolitan University, she has worked as a media maker with documentary stories and installations presenting work at film festivals and public art spaces both internationally and locally. She is currently a manager of the Story Fund Program with the Indigenous Screen Office.
